The world is ending, but the last man on Earth gets an offer to prolong his life

It was 21:00 and I had spent the entire day alone. My friends were dead. My family was dead. My dog was dead. In fact, the last living human on Earth was me. I decided to spend the night drinking beer and watching movies in my small cabin in the mountains. After I passed out, I had a strange dream that I was back in my small apartment in a big city, working as a programmer at a company with many other programmers. I remember waking up and checking my phone to see if the dream was just a notification, but there were no notifications. But when I got up to walk to the bathroom, I saw something that I didn't expect. I saw a message on the wall in letters as big as my hand. I approached the wall and read:<br><br>I represent the Board of Directors of Humanity. Your species has been destructive to the Earth. We gave you many chances to make it right. We gave you warnings about the climate crisis, the pandemic, nuclear threats, and more. You didn't listen. It's time for us to intervene. Our experiments show that humanity would not survive another 100 years. We have been watching you for 13,000 years. You amuse us with your destructive tendencies. But we are not here to judge you. We are here to give you an offer. The Earth is dying. Your body is dying. You are dying. But we can offer you a chance to prolong your life, to see the end of humanity without being alone.<br><br>I walked to the fridge and opened it. Inside, I saw a vial of blue liquid. I picked it up, smelled it, and licked it. It tasted sweet. I decided to take the risk and drink it. I drank it all. Then I went to my room, lay down on the bed, and waited. After half an hour, I felt dizzy. I passed out.<br><br>When I woke up, I was in a huge room filled with hundreds of humans. I was the only man. Everyone else was a woman. They were all sitting on a long bench. I looked around and saw that I was sitting on the same bench. I tried to stand up, but I couldn't. My legs were weak. I tried again and again, but nothing happened. Then I looked at the ceiling and saw a giant screen showing me the same message as the wall in my cabin. I realized that I had been transported here, to this place, to see out humanity. I looked at the women and saw that they were all crying. They were mourning humanity's death. I smiled and said, "I'm sorry, ladies. We both had to witness humanity's end. But I'm glad we have each other." The women looked at me and smiled back. Then they all stood up and walked towards me. They hugged me and said, "Thank you for being with us."<br><br>And that's how the last man on Earth got to see humanity's end with women.
