I lied to my son and wife about my tent not fitting through the door of our truck. So I got to ride in the back of the truck from California to Yellowstone.

I convinced my son to ride in the back of the truck for the 14 hour drive. I put the tent in the cab and rode with my feet on it and the windows rolled down with the cool mountain air blowing in my face. I had earplugs and an ipod in so I wasn't bothered by the road noise and I could sleep in peace.<br><br>Edit: for everyone saying the tent is in the back, that's not how we do it out west.
