I'm 28 and my sister is 21, with my encouragement she's talking to her therapist and doctor about gender transition therapy. I'm going to make a donation in her name for the next 7 years.

My sister is trans and I'm trying to encourage her to make a gender transition. Over the last 3 months I've convinced her to speak to her therapist and doctor about it. She's also working on making new friends at her college (she's 3rd year), and she's now gone out on 3 dates with guys. She's opened a Tiktok account and has 45 followers and is trying to get 100 followers so she can go live and hopefully get a lot more followers, and she's working on a youtube video with the same goal.

She's still not opened up to our parents as the doctor recommended she wait until she's finished disassociating from her old gender identity. I'm glad I pushed her to do this even though she complained a lot because she really is wise beyond her years.

I'm also making a yearly donation for the next 7 years in her name to her university. It's a small amount that adds up to more than she makes per year so it's a meaningful donation by her standards. My therapist said I'm doing a brave thing to try to influence a relationship and I'm impressed by her wisdom.
