You are a 14 year old girl in foster care. Your social worker called you in the other day to tell you that you might be getting adopted soon. You were so excited all week until the social worker called you yesterday and said she had bad news. Shortly before the adoption was supposed to happen, the new family dropped out. They have since been trying to find a new family but have not yet had success. All they can do is house you in foster care until they find a new home for you.

A family did end up showing up a few hours after the social worker had left. The family showed up to a room that was now empty and the foster family that took you in each day said that they have never even heard of anything like this happening before with an adoption falling through so last minute. They found out this morning that you had run away from the foster home and were unable to find you anywhere. You were on your own now. You had no idea where to go.

You were sitting on a bench when a young woman approached you. You had been sitting on this bench for hours and was starting to worry that you would have no choice but to go back to the foster home.

The woman looked at you. "I don't know what is wrong with me, I'm just getting over a break up and I'm already in `the jungle` (a name for the local homeless shelter) looking for a new boyfriend. You are pretty cute" she asked me. "How old are you?"

You looked down at the ground and said, "14".

You looked up at the lady who smiled back at you. She said "Well I'm only 23 so that's not too big of an age difference". She paused before saying "You are homeless right?"

You nodded "I am. I was supposed to get adopted by a family but they just fell through at the last minute and I don't have anywhere else to go".

She looked at you for a sec. "Well in that case I'll let you stay with me if you want".

You thought about the foster home. In a lot of ways it was pretty `stable` but in some ways it was very `unstable`. However, you also knew that going home with this lady would likely make it impossible to ever go back to the foster home. What do you do?
