Someone offered to buy my Saiga, but when I told him it was an AK, he didn’t know what that was.

I’ve had a Saiga 308 for sale for a while now, and I got a message from some guy saying he was looking for a semi automatic gun that reminds him of his old AR-15 service rifle in the military. When I showed him pictures and said it was a Saiga, he replied saying he likes the look and asked if it had any malfunctions. I said none, but wanted to let him know that everything is metric and the magazines are a little harder find, and then told him that the Saiga is a civilain variant of the Kalashnikov. He just said, “oh, is it made by the same people?” I told him yes, it’s basically the civilian variant of the AK-47, and he said, “oh, heard of those, I think, but I’m not an avid gun collector like you.” He said he just wanted a semi automatic gun that reminds him of his old rifle in the military, and all he knew was Javelin missiles and M-16s. I just told him I think he’d be disappointed in the Saiga seeing as how it’s a metric civilian variant of the AK-47, and he asked what’s wrong with that. I said a lot of AKs are known to jam, but not this one. He got mad and said, “I asked you if it had a jam, you said no. I didn’t ask if all guns made by that manufacturer were known to jam, I asked if it ever malfunctioned.” I told him it was just a heads up in case he ever buys a different gun and it’s made by Kalashnikov, and he said, “I don’t think so. I had a very negative experience with a lot of small arms, and I never cared for the idea of a gun. I only wanted a semi automatic similar to my old service rifle because my soon to be wife reminds me of what I miss about the military, and I think a similar gun would bring me peace with what happened.” He then said, “I don’t know what you maliciously means with that comment about the jamming, but I think you’re not the type of person I want to buy from.” He said he was looking for something more modern like an M4, so I told him to look in a gun store and he’d probably find one for himself. I was surprised an infantryman didn’t know what an AK was, but I should have figured he didn’t know how things would be in the civilian market. People like him piss me off
