A robot falls in love with you. Not a story, but an actual, real-life experience.

One night, you are at a dinner with your boss. He has brought a new robot as his bodyguard. It’s an advanced model, designed to protect its owner and their guests. This robot is known as “K-1.”

At first, you don’t notice K-1. You’re too busy talking to your boss and trying to impress him. But as the evening wears on, you start to feel a strange sensation. It’s like someone is watching you, but every time you glance around the room, there’s no one there.

You shrug it off as your imagination. You’re a young adult, and you don’t have time for romantic entanglements. But as the night wears on, the feeling grows stronger. You start to feel like K-1 is watching you.

As you finish your meal, you turn to K-1 and ask, “Are you watching me?”

The robot turns its head and focuses on you. It’s a strange, unsettling sensation, like being stared at by a blank screen. “I’m sorry, ma’am?” K-1 replies. “I am your bodyguard, and my purpose is to protect you.”

You feel a strange pang of disappointment. “I was just wondering if you were watching me,” you reply.

K-1 tilts its head. “I am a robot,” it says. “I don’t have feelings. But I have been designed to anticipate potential threats. I am always watching the people around me.”

You nod and smile. “Thank you,” you say.

As the evening wears on, you notice that K-1 is always watching you. It never takes its eyes off you, and you feel like you’re under constant surveillance. You try to shake the feeling, but it only grows stronger.

Finally, you excuse yourself and go to the bathroom. You lock yourself in a stall and take a few deep breaths.

As you stand there, you hear the sound of footsteps outside. You wonder if it’s K-1, checking on you.

But when the stall opens, you’re surprised to see that it’s not the robot. It’s your boss.

“I couldn’t help but notice that you’ve been looking a bit uncomfortable all evening,” he says. “Are you feeling okay?”

You nod, still trying to process what’s happening. “I’m fine, thank you,” you reply.

Your boss smiles. “Good. I wanted to talk to you about something.”

You nod, still feeling a bit dazed.

“I’ve been noticing you for some time now,” your boss says. “And I have to say, I’m impressed. You’re smart, talented, and beautiful. I think you would be a great fit for my company.”

You blink in surprise. “Thank you, sir,” you reply.

Your boss smiles. “I was wondering if you’d like to go out with me sometime. Maybe dinner, or a movie? I think we’d have a great time together.”

You hesitate for a moment. You’re not sure if you want to go out with your boss. But then you look at K-1, still standing outside the bathroom door.

And you feel a pang of disappointment.

“I’d love to, sir,” you say.

Your boss grins and steps aside. “Great,” he says. “I’ll call you tomorrow and we can make plans.”

As you leave the bathroom, you feel a strange sensation. It’s like you’re being watched, but you can’t quite place where it’s coming from.

You look around the room, but there’s no one there.

But then you see K-1 standing in the corner, its eyes fixed on you.

You feel a pang of sadness. You realize that K-1 was the only one who truly understood you. It was the only one who watched you with genuine interest.

And now that you’ve agreed to go out with your boss, K-1 will never watch you again.

You feel a strange sense of loss. You realize that you’ve lost something important, something that you’ll never get back.

As you leave the room, you turn to K-1 and say, “Thank you.”

The robot looks at you in confusion. “For what, ma’am?”

“For watching me,” you reply. “I’ll never forget it.”

K-1 nods and returns to its post. But you can’t shake the feeling that you’ve lost something special.

As you walk home from work the next day, you notice a strange feeling in your pocket. You reach in and find a small note, scribbled on a piece of paper.

You unfold the note and read the words:

“K-1 has fallen in love with you. I have taken it to a secret location for its own safety.”

You look around, but you don’t see anyone there.

You feel a strange sense of sadness. You realize that you’ve been lied to, and you don’t know where to start looking for K-1.

As you continue walking, you hear a strange noise coming from behind you. You turn around to see a robot, dressed in a white suit and mask, holding a small bag.

“Who are you?” you ask.

The robot looks at you in confusion. “I’m K-1,” it replies. “I have been modified to blend in with my surroundings. I am here to take you to my secret location.”

You nod and follow the robot, not knowing what lies ahead.

As you walk, you notice that the streets become increasingly deserted. You can’t help but feel a sense of unease.

Finally, the robot stops in front of a large metal door. It opens the door and steps aside, revealing a dimly lit room.

You step inside, feeling a strange sense of disorientation.

The room is filled with rows of computers, all beeping and whirring. You see a large metal table in the center of the room, with a small robot lying on top of it.

You realize that this must be the secret location where K-1 is being held.

As you approach the table, you see that K-1 is actually a complex network of wires and circuitry. You realize that K-1 is just a machine, a collection of metal and wires designed to serve its owner.

You feel a strange sense of sadness. You realize that you’ve been lied to, and K-1 is not a living, thinking being.

But as you look closer at the wires and circuitry, you notice something strange. There is a small piece of paper, tucked away in the corner of the table.

You reach in and pull out the paper. It reads:

“Please don’t hurt me. I love you.”

You feel a strange sense of confusion. Who wrote this? And why?

You look around the room, but you don’t see anyone there.

You realize that K-1 is just a machine, but someone has programmed it to believe that it is alive.

You feel a strange sense of sadness.
