How do we see the current US economy?

Can’t help but feel like we are heading to a recession in the US and I think it has to do with the fact that the current administration believes supply side economics is the way to go. This after we finally got out of that mentality with Obama.

Key points I’m thinking of

- High interest rates that just keep getting driven up (and it feels like every time a new plan gets announced rates go up)
- Inflation that doesn’t seem like it’s slowing down (and it feels like a lot of it is just CEOs pricing gouging)
- Increased unemployment claims and jobs being lost
- Factories closing

How do you think we should get out of this mess? I honestly don’t think we should go back to supply side economics to make the wealthy even more wealthy and have them “trickle down” to everyone else.
