It’s completely okay to not finish a book that you hate

I’m a pretty big reader ( around 70-80 books per year) and I used to make myself finish every single book I read. Even if I hated it , I would drag myself through it and then complain. Recently i really hated a book and I got to chapter 10 and just forgot about it. It’s been a month and i don’t really think about it that much. There are so many books in the world, why would I spend my time on a bad book when I could be reading a good one? I think it’s just kinda dumb to try to finish something you don’t like when you could be doing something better with your time. I don’t think anyone needs to finish a book they don’t like.
