I knew my missing twin sister wasn't actually missing.

My twin sister 'disappeared' a week after her 16th birthday back in '92. Just took a weekend bag and ran off.

Three years later I was scrolling through a '70s-80s fashion and makeup page on Facebook, and saw my sister's face, she's a model.

Suffice to say, she was *not* missing. She had a whole new identity and everything. I knew it was her though, she looks identical to me. We're obviously fraternal twins, but we've always looked a lot alike.

She looks very happy. Just wanted to say that.

There's no way on this earth that she didn't know who I am. Just like, the eyes, the mouth, the eyebrows. We have the same bone structure.

I sent her a friend request, and she still hasn't responded. I understand it's a bit of a stress to know your long lost twin sister has found you, but come on. I just want to know she's okay.

I know this post is a bit all over the place, I just wanted to talk about it. She's my twin, and I miss her.

Edit; Just to update, my sister did send a message in the end, and it was a lovely message. Apologies for the anxiety, and I understand why she was nervous. Hopefully we'll meet up at some point, and I'd like to thank her for being so gracious in her message.

Thank you all for your kind comments and helpful messages.
