How would you design a TL;DR map for the world you're building?

I've been world-building for a long time, but I'm really interested in starting to map out all my locations and areas. When I'm creating my maps, I'd like to include the following details:

- Location names
- Map legends that aren't cluttered or annoying to look at
- Climate
- Geographical features
- Major trade routes
- Major army movements
- Major events or battles
- Geopolitical divisions
- Capitols
- Major markets
- Major ports
- Airports
- Rivers
- Mountains
- Coastlines

There's probably more that I'm leaving out, but I'd say that's a good starting place, right?

So I'm just wondering, what would you put on a world TL;DR map? How would you illustrate these details? What would you leave off?

If you have any advice, or even TL;DR map examples that you can share or link to, I'd love to see them.
