Am I going insane? Is this actually going to fucking happen after all?

I've been following AGI for years. Man I've never been more hyped and simultaneously unsure of myself than I am right now. It's been months of just a constant bombardment of jumps in AI leaps and announcements. I constantly see new stories and I'm just constantly wondering if this is really it? Are we really going to just fucking do it? Like I had to work really hard to convince myself that it was really happening back in 2012. Now I have to work hard to convince myself that it's NOT happening.<br><br>I'm not alone here, am I?<br><br>Edit: Thanks, guys. I think I need to come clean to myself.
