Why do people like light Yaoi? [NSFW]

This thread was made for a discussion. <br><br>Hey all, I am not judging you if you like Yaoi, but I am genuinely confused. I have never seen a Yaoi in which the sex/romantic scenes weren’t the main focus. My confusion is why Yaoi fans like the sexualized animation of men. A small portion of Yaoi fans are also straight men. Why? They don’t like animation of women, so why men? Yaoi is marketed towards women. I’m just generally confused at the Yaoi fan base. Please let me know if I am wrong about anything.
