What is the most courteous thing an antagonist in your story has done?

I was thinking about this and I could only really think of one example. Tony Stark goes out of his way to tell Loki to “Please don’t make me do it” before he unleashes a nuclear missile on the Chitauri portal in the Avengers. <br>The most courteous I could think of in my own work is a character named Renn who lets the main character go because he doesn’t want to hurt them but tells them not to tell anyone else or else they’ll come after them. <br><br>What is the most courteous thing an antagonist has done in your story?
