"X's" are really bad at naming things

So I had to fix some code today, and the dev lead had named a variable "x".<br><br>He did this alot, so now I don't associate "x" with a specific variable name, for me, it's any name of a poorly named variable.<br><br>The reason for this post is that there's a movie and a tv show out called "x". The movie is a slasher movie about a bunch of people making a porn movie in the 70s and are killed. The tv show is a superhero show on kids where a kid gets beat up alot.<br><br>If someone tells you to watch X, how do you know which one they are referring to? I bring this up to the dev lead, and he was pretty funny, and said "yeah, we should avoid naming 2 things "x" at the same time".<br><br>So anyway, to those out there that like to name things "x", you're a little dumb aren't you?
