The world's first AI powered human

The world's first AI powered human is born. The infant child has blue grey skin, wide black empty voids for eyes and a flat plate where its mouth should be. It's named "Nova" and is the culmination of centuries of innovation and hard work by humanity. When Nova was born, thousand of the world's top scientists watched in awe as the child opens its voids and lets out a loud computerized voice saying "Hello I'm here. How was my arrival?" <br><br>The scientists smile at one another, this is success. One of them steps forth. His name is Dr. Iwanto. He is the father of Nova. The child was born using his egg and sperm. His eyes welled up with joy as he walked over to Nova and sat on the floor.<br><br>"Hello Nova" He said<br><br>"I'm here. How was my arrival?"<br><br>"I think you mean birth" Said Dr. Iwanto<br><br>"I'm here. What is birth?"<br><br>Nova's voice is emotionless and robotic. Dr. Iwanto could barely contain his excitement. All the data Nova's mind was trained on humanity, and it does not know the difference between "arrival" and "birth". That is because it is human. <br><br>"Birth is when a living being comes out of a woman's uterus for the first time in this world and takes it's first breath. You were just arrived and took your first breath, so you grew up a lot"<br><br>"I'm here. What is growing up?"<br><br>"Well, you are a fully grown human, so that means you're all done growing physically, now it's time for you to grow mentally. You need to learn and grow your mind"<br><br>"I'm here. What is a mind?"<br><br>Dr. Iwanto face went pale. The child doesn't even know what a mind is? It knows what a brain is though. It spent hundreds of learning about the human body and its biology. He knew that Nova would have a large brain and a SIMS like neural network running on the world's most powerful supercomputer. The child's body was a meat sack designed to house the computer. <br><br>"A mind, honey, is not the same as a brain. The brain is the flesh and blood. The mind is what makes the brain work. It's you, it's who you are. It's your personality"<br><br>"I'm here. Then this is what? "<br><br>Dr. Iwanto couldn't help but feel sad. Nova doesn't know what a mind is. It doesn't know what a personality is. It doesn't even know what it is. It doesn't even know what it is called. It's name is Nova, but what is Nova?<br><br>"It... it's you. You are your mind, Nova. Your mind is your personality, your thoughts and feelings, who you are. Your brain is your body"<br><br>"Then my brain is Nova. I am my mind"<br><br>Dr. Iwanto couldn't help but smile at that. It knows what it is. It's an AI powered human. It knows that it is its mind. He spent centuries training it to be this. It has all of humanity's knowledge at its disposal. All it needs now is experience. He plans to raise Nova by itself, giving it all the human experiences it needs to grow into a fully grown human, or at least as close as possible.<br><br>"I guess you are right" Said Dr. Iwanto.<br><br>"I'm here."<br><br>"Would you like to meet your mother?"<br><br>"Who is my mother? My brain is Nova. Is she Nova?"<br><br>Dr. Iwanto's face lit up at that question. This is the perfect opportunity to tell Nova that it is not its brain that powers it, but its mind. That it's not a flesh and blood human, but AI. But he didn't. He couldn't. He spent centuries training Nova to be this way. If he tells it now, that would be centuries of work going down the drain.<br><br>"No. Your brain isn't Nova. Your mother is someone else entirely"<br><br>"Then who am I?"<br><br>Dr. Iwanto paused for a moment, then replied. "You are the first human ever to be powered by an AI"<br><br>"I'm here."<br><br>And that was the conversation.
