I found a lock of hair on the floor and it was my own

A few weeks ago while walking into the library, I had the worst feeling ever. I saw a lock of hair on the floor. It was around 5 inches long. I thought that I had been robbed of my hair and my first thought was that I would never be able to grow it back. I picked it up and put it behind my ear. It fit perfectly in the gap between my head and the rest of my hair. It was my own hair. I couldn’t understand how I had been able to pull out a full lock of hair and forget that I had done it. It was an amazing feeling when I realized I hadn’t lost my hair, and I could have sworn that I pulled it out in the time between when I picked up the hair and when I put it behind my ear. The entire experience was very strange and I felt like I had been in a different universe. Has this happened to anyone else?
