Hello everyone. I have never posted here so I'll apologize for the length of this post, that I will reference later in the comments.

I've been using drugs most of my life, pretty much all drugs. But I work for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and in direct contrast to everything I've ever thought about the pharmaceutical industry I've come to respect the men and women I work with because along with very few exceptions, everyone I know is all working pretty damn hard on making medicine to help people, not create addiction.

I've been direct about my drug use and wish for drug reform to my coworkers, and so far, all of those I've told have either been all for legalizing all drugs or have been apathetic and don't care one way or the other. However, none of them are in direct contact with the drugs we produce. I'm not either, that's not my role, but I want to know how I would feel if I were.

I work in an environment where I know what medicines we are creating, but I've never actually seen the drugs. I don't even know what they look like.

A coworker recently made a comment about one of the drugs we produce that was very anti-drug use in nature. It's a medicine that comes in pill form, and it doesn't cross my desk often, but it does occasionally, and we recently had a large amount of that particular drug cross my path. I thought it would be interesting to see what people here think the drug is based on the pill itself.

The pills in question are white, shaped like a football, stamped 20 on one side, and are about 1/4 inch long. They are relatively thin. (about 1/8 inch wide) The pills come 200 to a bottle, and we had 200 bottles in boxes of 20 bottles each, that we needed to throw away. They were expired. (This is why we had a lot recently) I've walked past the boxes a few times, and the desire to steal them has been tempting.

I'm not going to lie and say that I've never taken drugs from my work. The first few months I worked there, when I was still in training, I knew that the drugs we were working on were going to become legal. At first, those drugs were only stamped and not in pill form, we were turning stamped drugs into pills. I was going to wait for them to be legalized, but when I found out that they were pills, I took a few. At first, it was fun, but after the second time there wasn't any fun in it. I stopped taking them because I was going to be drug tested, and I just didn't want to lose my job. I was making more money than I had in my life at that point, and I didn't want to take the risk of getting fired because I had taken a few pills from work.

That's why I wondered what you all thought about these pills.

TL;DR- I work for a large pharmaceutical company and want to know what you all think of a new drug we are making that I have access to. The drug is a pill stamped with 20, 1/8 inch wide, and 1/4 inch long.
