Spotify's RapCaviar has 12 million followers and a whopping 36,000,000+ monthly listeners — yet the hip-hop rappers on that playlist are mostly broke & struggling on their Instagram stories. What gives?

I mean, it's one thing that they tour & don't get any royalties from their music. But the amount of people streaming their music is insane. RapCaviar has a huge following and that's just one of the many hip-hop playlists on Spotify. It's insane to see rappers that are in heavy rotation on these playlists posting stories about how they have 3,500 in their bank account and struggle to afford things.
