AITA for making my girlfriend sell her cat?

I (36m) met my gf (31f) 6 months ago. She had a cat that she "rescues" from the street. That means she saw it, took it home and 2 weeks later gives it the extra food and a cardboard box to sleep in.<br><br>The cat is very mean, aggressive, not neutered/spayed, not vaccinated, not microchip, and it scratches all the furnitures.<br><br>I don't like cats, I don't want to be around cats, and I don't want a cat in my house.<br><br>She says it's her cat and she will keep it but I'm the one who's been paying for the cat's food for the past 2 months because she keeps forgetting.<br><br>Last week I told her I won't pay for the cat's food anymore. She was mad and tells me that she can't afford it.<br><br>I offered to pay for the cat food if she sells the cat to me.<br><br>She was angry and asked what would I do with the cat and I said I would take it to the pound, I have no money to pay for a cat that scratches everything.<br><br>We had a huge fight and she called me an AH that wants to send her cat to death.<br><br>I told her that it's not her cat because she didn't spay/neuter, vaccinate it or even give it a real home.<br><br>She cried and said I hurt her feelings.<br><br>I told her it's better the cat go to the pound now than later when she gets tired of taking care of it.<br><br>I offered to take the cat to the pound but she refused.<br><br>AITA?
