My grandpa was 1488 and I had no clue

So, my grandpa was a proud conservative, and along with that he liked to drop the n bomb more than Dave Chappelle, so I’ve always known about that, but along with being a bit of a racist he had a bunch of other traits that made me laugh. One of the most prominent traits was that he always had to end everything he did at 14:88, he would always end his stories 14:88 seconds before 10:00, he would always eat his breakfast at 14:88 seconds after 6:00, and he would always have to end his day at 14:88. I’ve always thought it was just a funny little quirk, but about a month ago I was cleaning out his desk and I found a pamphlet for the compound, and I was shocked but not surprised. I’m disappointed, but I still love my grandpa.
