How close is humanity to achieving the technological singularity?

Even though I'm a long time fan of all the segments on this sub, I have never actually posted one myself. I'm still fairly new to the idea of the Technological Singularity, and I was wondering how close or far humanity is from achieving it. I'm going to poll you guys on when you guys think the Technological Singularity will occur. I just want to hear your opinions and views on this topic.
