My father-in-law just called me. He admitted to voting for Trump in 2016. He told me that he was wrong for doing so, that he knows Trump is bad for his country and he is going to vote for Biden this time.

My father-in-law and I talk politics from time to time, but we always manage to stay civil. He's a regular listener of talk radio, so he's especially right leaning. He first called me before I married his daughter and told me that I shouldn't be farming anymore, and should find a different career because farming is a dead end. I've always been very adamant that I love farming and I was happy being a farmer. Today, he called me and told me he wanted to talk to me about something, and said: "You were right, you had been right this entire time. I voted for Trump in 2016, but now it is so obvious that he is a terrible president and has done so much harm to our country. I know I'm a right leaning vote, but I've been thinking a lot and I believe that Biden will be a much better president." He's a second generation American from a family of immigrants, mostly German and Armenian. He lives in the midwest and is somewhat of a "Trump-friendly" area. He usually votes republican, as his first presidential vote was for Reagan.

I just wanted to share my story that there is real hope for change and that Trump lost another vote to Biden.
