Two men on a plane

Two men were seated in the same row on a plane. The man in the window seat was an English teacher, the man next to him was a sailor. The English teacher was excited to fly across the country for a vacation in Hawaii and couldn't wait to arrive, but the sailor was in a bad mood. "Excuse me," the English teacher said, "But what's wrong with you?" "Why do you think?" "I don't know." "Would you like to know?" "Probably." "You probably will in the end, so here it is. I just found out yesterday that my wife has been cheating on me for a year, so we're getting a divorce. That's why I'm in a bad mood." "I'm sorry. It's awful when something like that happens." "Oh, is it? You have no idea. You don't know what a cheater is, do you?" "I don't know what you mean." "You've never been cheated on, have you? I don't think anyone who has been cheated on could honestly say they're sorry for someone like that. I think anyone who's been cheated on would want to kill the cheater. They're not worthy to live. But you know, that's just my opinion." "Well, I'm sorry about what happened to you. It sucks." "You're sorry. What a good guy. Well, at least you're not a cheater. That's good for you, I suppose. But it's over between my wife and me, and it's better that way. It would have been worse if I had known about it sooner. She tried to hide it from me, but I finally found out. I'll be better off without her, so I shouldn't complain." "I hope you find someone else." "Oh, really? You're optimistic, aren't you? You think everything will work out in the end, don't you?"
