Mod announcement: Due to repeated in-thread spam, we’ve decided to put up this thread to expose and permanently suspend one of the biggest and most prolific communist spam accounts out there.

This mod team has been working tirelessly in the last few months (and therefore the last few weeks) to put an end to the wave of spam that has happened on this sub. In that process, we have continually blocked and removed spam accounts, banned spam domains and suspended spammers.<br><br>However, one of the most prolific and annoying spam accounts we have encountered recently has been from the account **u/MarxistCounterpoint**, who is a professional spammer that has a history of evading spam filters and banning. This account has spammed us with over 36 posts in the last 60 days, with a history of over 200 spam comments on our sub on top of this. After weeks of engaging with this spammer and the moderators of other chambers that they have engaged in spam on (as well as other chambers that they use as a proxy to spam *our* sub as well as other chambers) in an attempt to work together and establish a global block to put an end to the spamming, we have today decided to suspend the account permanently.<br><br>If you are a spammer on this sub, this is a clear warning sign to you to shut down your spamming activities now before it’s too late. Moderators of other chambers, this is your opportunity to expose your spammers and establish a global ban to put an end to their spamming. Moderators of the chambers that contain and protect these spammers, this is a warning sign to you to reevaluate your relationship with spam and to take active steps to put an end to it. Finally, to spammers, this is your final opportunity to shut down your spamming operations and to turn yourself around and better yourself. <br><br>No spam. No drama.
