I knew I should've stayed home

I just got back home from being out in public tonight . I went to this bar/arcade that I've been to a few times that's pretty fun. It's a ridiculously feminine space but so much so that it's basically a parody, or at least that's how I see it. Pretty much everything in the bar is pink and there was even a photo booth set up with outfits you can wear. It's over the top and just a funny place to go once in a while. <br><br>Anyways, I was sitting at the bar with this crowd of people and I was chatting with this guy who was really excited that I was out drinking with him. I was just sipping on a Sprite though so I wasn't really drinking anything. I noticed a girl that seemed to be with him keeping an eye on me. Anyways I decided to go take out some of my pent up energy in the photo booth. I came back and it was just me and the girl at the bar now. She starts chatting with me and I found out that she was the guy's girlfriend. I was like oh okay so this is probably a test for me. I chatted with her for a bit and she seemed fine but I was just ready to go home at this point. I think I stayed for about an hour after that but I just felt really out of place. I got my ass grabbed twice and I had this other girl try to hand me her number. I was like yeah no I'm good. It was just surreal and I don't really deal well with people so I just left and went home. Now I'm sitting here in peace listening to a podcast and eating supper. It's just funny how even going out can be a bit of a trap.
