*Sigh* So I guess we're getting a bunch of low quality startup founders now

With the new A16Z fund, it's clear that the requirements for a founding team are pretty low. They will just give you 10 million, jack up your user acquisition costs and 15x your burn rate because of their 15x dilution and then do whatever it takes to make that money back because their economy is essentially infinite.

I was really hoping for a founder's golden age where costs were low, talent was abundant, and capital was cheap. But I suppose that dream is dead.

Essentially every employee will have 50% jack up in salary whenever they join a startup now because they're being offered stock and money to join.

I'm considering all the companies I'd love to fund and doing some cap table calculations to see if I can find them before A16Z notices them. Rude.
