A letter to my son, written by my wife. Not a letter I ever wrote.

Dear [son],<br><br><br>I wanted to write a letter to you today, just to say I love you. I wanted to say it in the way that your father would want me to.<br><br><br>I'm sorry I can't put into words what I'm feeling. It's not something I can write. I'll be honest. I'm not sure if I can even speak it.<br><br><br>I wish I could. I really do. Your father was the most expressive man I've ever met. I wish I could be more like him, just for this one letter. I wish I could speak with the love and devotion that he would have, that he should have.<br><br><br>I'm not that man. I can't. I won't. And so, I'll just have to be myself. But I want you to know, you are loved. Your father loves you, I love you, and we will love you for the rest of our lives.<br><br><br>Even though he's not here right now, he'll be back before you know it.<br><br><br>I love you more than words can say.<br><br><br>Mom<br><br><br>P.S.
