You created this world and raised the people in it. You SHOULD be ashamed of yourselves.<br><br>You let corporations into the schools, telling kids that it is normal to have commercials everywhere and to be constantly sold something. Now everything has ads; voice assistants, the internet, movie tickets, everything. But hey, at least you got free TVs for your kid's classrooms out of it.<br><br>You raised your kids by slave labor. You made them do all of the chores, teaching them that they should be happy to work for free, and it's their only purpose in life. Now people work 3 jobs just to barely survive and are told they should be grateful for the opportunity to do so. By the way, good job on teaching your kids to cook, clean, and sew. At least they can take care of themselves.<br><br>You let the schools turn your kids into good little militarized automatons. Kids have always been judged by how well they can follow instructions, but now it is the ONLY thing schools care about. Now we live in a world where people follow their chain of command to the letter, and refuse to take any action that their bosses don't approve of. It doesn't matter if the boss hired someone to break into your house and hurt your kids. If a boss tells someone to do it, they do it without question.<br><br>You raised your kids with a fear of failure. Your kids have been terrified to try anything new. They don't ask questions, they don't take risks, they don't venture into anything unknown, and they don't seek out new experiences. They have no idea how to survive in the wilderness, and refuse to learn. You told them that if they get good grades, they'll get a good job. But how good are grades really when half the kids graduate high school not knowing how to patch a punctured tire, or what to do if their feet get wet in the winter. Or better yet, how to recognize frostbite.<br><br>You raised generation after generation to do nothing except work and die. Your kids have no idea how to have fun anymore. They just work and go home, and they refuse to do anything else. You raised your kids away from the outdoors, and now they have no idea how to enjoy themselves outside of staring at a screen. You raised your kids to be lazy as hell. And then you complain when they are lazy, and try to force them to do something about it, because you're lazy as well. You want to fix the problem, but you don't want to put in the effort. I guess that's what you get when you raise your kids that effort and hard work mean nothing.<br><br>You raised your kids away from the outdoors and into climate change. You refused to buy them anything but the cheapest, most processed, made with the least effort possible, products. You raised them to be lazy and wasteful, and now the air is toxic, bees are dying, and the weather is extreme. But at least you saved 15 cents on every can of beans you bought, right? You also saw the writing on the wall that climate change was coming, and yet you did nothing to prepare your kids for it. You didn't teach them how to survive in extreme heat, extreme cold, or in naturally dangerous environments. You didn't teach them how to recognize dangerous weather patterns, or how to find clean water and shelter in the wilderness. But hey, at least you saved money, right? That's surely something you can pass down once the Earth naturally kills itself off.<br><br>You raised your kids with the idea that no one should be paid a living wage. You let them lower minimum wage and raise costs of living. You let them convince you that paying school teachers and nurses a living wage was too expensive. You let them convince you that paying your own employees a living wage was too expensive. You let them convince you that just because a woman was a stay at home mom, she didn't deserve healthcare, because that was seen as "free" money. You let them convince you that anything that helped the poor was seen as "hand outs". You created a world where everyone needs at least 2 jobs in order to survive. You are why single parents can't afford to work, because they need to pay for child care. You raised kids who now think that healthcare is too sacred to give to the poor, or the sick. You raised your kids to be selfish pricks, and now everyone needs to work multiple jobs just to survive. At least you got to enjoy life when wages were good, right? At least you got to live when the economy could take care of its citizens... right?<br><br>And finally... You let corporations tell you that immigrants were the problem. You let corporations tell you that immigrants were lowering your wages and stealing your jobs. You let corporations tell you immigrants were the reason your kids were poor, and your family couldn't afford good food or good shelter. You let corporations tell you that immigrants were the reason you couldn't find a good job, and why you were forced to live in shit conditions. And then you raised your kids to believe the same thing. Because of you, and your kids, the United States has a Force on Southern Border that is built specifically tooses shoot to kill migrants. Because of you, and your kids, there are concentration camps around the world, and people know about them but do nothing. Because of you, and your kids, there is nowhere in the world a person can go to be accepted as a human being; to be treated with dignity and compassion. Because of you, and your kids, there is nowhere on this Earth that a person is automatically accepted as a human being; to be treated with dignity and compassion, no matter the skin color, nationality, or background. Because of you, and your kids, there is nowhere on this Earth that a person is automatically accepted as a human being.<br><br>This is the world you created; a world of commercials everywhere, wage slavery, no work death, climate change, lazy selfish pricks, and concentration camps. This is what you raised your kids to be, and this is the world they've created.<br><br>You should be ashamed of yourselves.
