Does anyone else want to be a long-term bachelor, but hate dating?

I want to settle down with one lady, but the dating process is skull-shatteringly painful. I great up in a military environment. I know what to expect when I’m at war. The dating world is not that. The dating world is being dropped in a field somewhere and having no idea what to expect. Meat markets are unstructured, skull-shatteringly loud and violent. Women are not long-term great people to spend time with unless you are in a marriage. Long-term dating is a farce and the courting process is dead. I have had 5 conversations with women, followed each of those conversations and went on a first date. In each of those first dates, great dates each time, the second date gave me no call no show. I went great on dates, each time. I’m in my 30’s. My parents are a bit worried that I’m still single. They know someone is out there for everyone, but they really want to see me happy.
