A message from an Israeli

Hello. I heard this sub going on on our Israeli sub, wanted to see how it is. I must say, very interesting. <br><br>Thank you for your support. It’s a tough place to live in, but we are doing our best, working together as a community to help everyone. It’s not an easy place, but it’s our home. And we want to keep it this way, and that’s why we are defending ourselves. <br><br>I couldn’t help but notice the hate comments, I want to say this in the most respectful way I can: <br><br>Many of you don’t know what you’re talking about. <br><br>You heard some information, and from that, you are judging an entire nation that you don’t even know anything about. You haven’t done enough good research, I say this with sure because it’s my nation, and I know the way we live, and the way we think. And it seems like the most of the people have never done enough research, (maybe you have done, idk), but from what I saw, most people don’t understand what’s happening. <br><br>Why are we fighting? We are fighting because we want to be able to live in our nation. In our state. <br><br>We are not the enemy. We are just trying to continue living, and we want to be able to do that without being attacked, or having to worry that Hamas will shoot a rocket that will kill someone we love. <br><br>We have been living in war for 70+ years, as long as we’ve had a nation. <br><br>We have knocked on every door in the world, asking to have a nation. For 2000 years, Jews were trying to find a place to live in peace. Every single door we knocked on, was closed on our faces. <br><br>Until we decided, we would return to our ancestral land, that has been ours for 4000 years. We had proof, we had papers, we had everything but we still had to fight for our nation for years, because countries didn’t think we were good enough to have a state. <br><br>In 1948 we have finally received a state. <br><br>The war in Israel has never ended, we have been fighting for our nation longer than I’ve been alive. <br><br>I’m only 14 years old, and I grew up in a war state. <br><br>We are fighting for our people, for our nation, for our country, for our home. <br><br>We are not the enemy. <br><br>The only thing we want is to live in peace, and continue living. <br><br>We want the Palestinians to live in peace too. <br><br>But because of Hamas, it’s a different story. They are the real enemy, and they want nothing but to destroy Israel. <br><br>We are trying to fight them, but they are hiding behind innocent people, children, and women. <br><br>I hope you could understand what’s happening better now. <br><br>Many of the information shared was a lie, that’s why you are so confused. <br><br>Many countries, like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and others, have a lot of money, and they fund a lot of anti-Israel propaganda.
