How do I make my story more interesting since I lack creativity?

I'm currently working on a story and have a month to finish it, but I feel like it's really dull. I have all my characters and most of my plot done but it still feels like it's missing something. <br><br>I also am a person who lacks creativity. I can not think of anything unique and when trying to come up with ideas, I just sit there staring off into space, unable to think of anything. I have tried to brainstorm, list ideas, write down things I like, and nothing has worked. It's not a matter of writer's block, it's a matter of the whole lack of creativity. <br><br>For example, other's might be able to think of things like this but not me, "Oh, what if there's a village that floats in the air?" Or "What if there's this type of weapon that does this?" <br><br>I'm not good at thinking of new, or unique things. I'm even bad at making up names like I'll be going over a list of names and then other's will be like "Oh, listen to this name, do you think it could be a good fit?" <br><br>Other's will also think of things I never would, even though now looking back it would make sense like them being like "You know, maybe you should take this route instead of this route even though this route would be the only way to get to this place." <br><br>I'm just really bad at thinking of anything creative and anything that's unique. <br><br>How would you suggest I brainstorm or get ideas?<br><br>  <br>**TLDR: I have a story, but it feels like something is missing.
