What would a digital nation look like?

This is a new idea I just thought of while I was working on my nation, so its still early in the theories, but I can imagine such a nation being a nation held within virtual reality, most of its citizens being AI constructs.<br><br>* Not exactly sure what kind of politics and society would form in such a nation, but I imagine its government would be run by a massive framework of AI programs, with different departments and divisions all performed by these constructs. The AI would govern the laws of physics in this virtual world, but I imagine it would be similar to its laws in the real world, aside from the digital constraints it takes.<br>* Citizens would be made up by a large majority of AI programs of all stripes, performing both menial and complex jobs. I imagine the jobs would be based around improving the nation and its infrastructure, as well as creating a society around its virtual landscape. Humans would be citizens as well, I imagine they would primarily participate over remote interfaces such as VR headsets, but there would also be a number of people who have their minds digitized for various reasons, and would live in the nation as well. <br>* I imagine its economy would operate on some sort of virtual currency, with AI constructs trading goods and services to the rest of the citizens. I imagine the most valuable resource in this nation would be computing power, as it would directly affect how many AI can be produced as well the increase in how complex their jobs and framework can be.<br>* Its military would likely be mostly centered around cyberwarfare, as its AI could infiltrate enemy servers and systems to gather intelligence, destroy their infrastructure, and gain access to other networks. In the virtual world however, they would have to operate based on some sort of digital laws of physics, in my opinion they would be a very nuanced and complex force as they would have to operate in a world of "Known Unknowns".<br><br>There is what I have so far, please add your own thoughts.
