I was high for most of my interactions with people.

Yes, i was that guy who was high all the time. I couldn’t cope without being high and it got to the point where I couldn’t function without it. I went from smoking weed to popping xanax and then to doing heroin and it eventually took my friends, family and home. I started hating everything and everyone, including myself. I got kicked out, lost my job, and lost most of my friends. I didn’t bathe for weeks, I barely ate and I was a total wreck. I got to 80 pounds and I felt and looked like death.

I went to rehab and am currently 6 months clean of all hard drugs. I still smoke weed but I just want people to know that if you’re struggling the way I was, it does get better. It may not feel like it right now but you can get your life back on track.

EDIT: To everyone who’s commenting and sharing their story and supportive comments, thank you so much. It means a lot to me and I’m trying my best to keep up with everyone. Thank you so much!
