Twitter began enforcing a new policy that restricts users from posting links to other social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

Twitter announced the policy Thursday evening, which also prohibits links to Twitter competitors Mastodon, Truth Social, Tribel, Nostr and Post, in addition to third-party link aggregators like Linktree, which many users rely on to connect to other platforms. <br><br>The policy then blocks any attempt to post a link to these platforms by blocking the tweet entirely.
