What does it mean to “not respect women?”

So many times I have seen men say things like, “Yeah I don’t respect women tbh.” I’ve been wondering what exactly this means? It probably means nothing. I’m sure they don’t really understand what “respect” is. It feels like they want to be able to say this so that women can’t say that they disrespect women. That’s all I can think of. What do you guys think?
