At the beginning of this year I sat for an interview to move to to a different country to do a degree. I’m currently in my 30s and the last time I have been in a classroom was year ago. I was scared to fail not only because how much effort I had to put to get to interview stage, but also because I didn’t want to let people down.

I remember sitting in the interview and telling the interviewer that in my country I have a degree in a completely different field and that getting into this one would be a fresh start for me. He laughed and said that it’s fine because he is in his 60s and he’s doing his 3rd degree. I asked him to elaborate and he said that he aced university 1 & 2 being a polydrug user and he didn’t regret it not one bit. He said that because of drugs he was able to study and do amazing in his career and he loves what he does. He ended up telling me to do my research and maybe attempt the poly drug life. And I did.

I started with caffeine because coffee is nice but it gives me a headache. It didn’t work well because I couldn’t focus. I had read somewhere that caffeine & theobromine was a good combo. I tried and it did indeed work but I couldn’t remember anything I read. I added on some rhodiola rosea, ginkgo and some ginseng and it worked wonders. I did my exam and aced it. I ended up getting into university and so far I’m doing amazing. My friend told me to look into Kratom and I have been taking it three times a week to deal with one of my chronic illnesses. I have phenibut when I get nervous and I have been doing a drug-free dopamine detox one day a week.

It’s okay to do drugs and it’s okay to be a poly drug user. It won’t make you less worthy. Just do your research, start low and don’t abuse. Please don’t go off my expert opinion because I’m not an expert, I’m just a drug user who has had a positive experience.

Tldr: I used to be against drugs, I took some and I'm doing amazing academically
