How do I make Pencils disappear?

I have already asked for pencils, but the school refuses to buy any. They say that:<br>- The students simply lose them.<br>- They are lost in the classroom.<br>- They ask me why I use so many.<br><br>I understand that the students lose them, but I end up giving them pens and pens are "more expensive". I have tried harder pencils, softer pencils, sharpened pencils, and even pre-sharpened pencils! But the students always ask for more.<br><br><br>Is there a way to make pencils disappear? We use them every single day, so it's not like they are going to waste, but the school refuses to purchase them. What do you suggest?
