It’s no wonder Amazon is crushing small businesses.

Our $200 range microwave broke. Repair guy wasn’t available until a week later, but he would also have a $129 labour fee on top of whatever the parts cost was.

I went to a local appliance store and the guy said he was super busy all this week but would try to come by tomorrow and take a look.

I didn’t hear from him that day and when I called him the next day (Saturday) he said he was too busy and wasn’t sure when he’d get around to it.

I ordered a new one from Amazon and it’ll be here tomorrow with installation included in the cost.

Small businesses can’t compete with that, nor should they have to. At least not for a device that costs $200.
