I'M THE GUY WHO MADE ENOUGHCOMMUNISTSPAM. PLEASE LISTEN.

I'm the person who made this sub. While it was mostly a joke, and not meant to be taken seriously, things have got out of hand. I made this sub because I was sick of seeing the communist spam in my recommended, how I would see the same few reposts weekly, and how a lot of people in r/communism would only use it to spout their talking points without actually wanting to talk to you. I was not trying to make a political statement. <br><br>But yet, people are using this sub as a way to express political hatred for leftist people. The memes are getting worse and worse. The spam mail has gotten to the point where I'm getting death threats from people who think I'm a leftist. This isn't what I wanted. I wanted to make a satirical sub that made fun of the annoying things about online communism. Unfortunately, it seems that I've created a monster. I didn't think that my little joke sub would get this big. I didn't think that humans could be so cruel. I just wanted to make something funny. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of you don't know the meaning of the word "irony". I should have known better. <br><br>I can't delete the sub. But I want to let it be known, I do not endorse the hateful things people say here. I am not the guy who's gonna go out and beat up socialists. I am not the guy who's gonna go on a killing spree and specifically target leftist people. I am not the guy who will harass someone because of their politics. I just wanted to make something funny.<br><br>This is turning into something I do not want it to be. Please stop with all the hate. I'm not going to go through the effort of taking this sub down, but I'm going to stop posting. Please find some place where you can express yourself without resorting to hate.<br><br>Thank you.<br><br>EDIT: Holy shit, I just woke up and wow. I never thought my little sub would get this big. Thank you all for the support. I appreciate it. And to those of you who have messaged me saying I'm "a stupid [insert gender here]". First of all: *my gender* is not a curse word. It's just a part of who I am. I appreciate the sentiment, but I'd rather you not say things like that. I'm just a person, making something for fun, who got too much of a good thing.
