Google Maps is getting a new AI-powered feature called “Vibe Check”

Google recently added a new AI-powered feature called Map Vibe Check to Google Maps. This enhances the existing Explore tab by showing users what a street or neighborhood looks like with the help of AI-generated images.<br><br>The Vibe Check feature is now available for Google Maps on desktop and mobile, and it uses AI to create a summarized image of the street and neighborhood. Pressing on the photo will load street view images from Google Street View to give you a better idea of what the place looks like.<br><br>Google notes that the feature is using AI-generated images, but they are created from real photos. It’s also worth mentioning that Vibe Check only works for a select group of cities across the globe.
