I got "legacy" facebook account in 2006 or something when I got my first laptop, never really used it for anything. But since I had an account I always had it active, so when I got my own account, it gave me the fb email to use, which gave me a fb account. And thats how I got a fb account with my full real name and everything.

But that means that a lot of people know about it. And some of them use it to message me, thinking they can use my fb account to say anything they want to me and I have to accept it.

And its usually the same people, who have known me for a few years now. We went to high school, or college together, so we can consider each other friends. But they act as if fb is some anonymous chat room and use it to say anything they want, without thinking before they speak.

For example, a good friend of mine said something along the lines of "I want to make a girl my gf so bad, but I hate how you cant just say hi to a girl you like and you have to wait for a while to see if she is even interested, so I usually just wait and say something else" to me.

Now I have been in a lot of online groups where people can say anything they want and will be told they are wrong. But I dont understand why my friend thinks its ok to say this to a girl he likes. And the thing is, she is a good friend of ours too.

I have another friend who says she likes to vent to her bf when shes stressed, but when you are talking to her online she just says the most rude things she wants to say to her bf. I think she has an online persona, and an offline persona. Which I dont get, but thats just me.

I have another friend who uses his fb to say stuff he wants to say to girls he likes. I know hes not saying it to them, but its a stupid way of saying it to me and I have to just sit there and pretend I like it.

I think this is really stupid. I get it if you think this is really unpopular, but its really dumb. If I really dont like something a person says, I can just tell them to stop or block them. But I usually just let them do it, because I know I have to be their friend. And it really sucks.

I think a lot of people act like they can be rude and mean to others because they arent face to face. And I really dont understand it.
