4000+ comments were deleted from the thread on 1/4/24. Many were mass downvoted. The mod team has been discussing this issue extensively and we felt that we should step in to prevent these kinds of actions from happening again.

Over the past 12 weeks, we had an issue with a severe upvote abuse on our sub, with a concerted effort to mass downvote comments and posts. This issue was so pervasive that it warranted a discussion about a potential partnership with the sub r/LetsReportSpammers, which we thought might be able to help us lessen the impact of such attempts to silence voices on our sub. However, after careful consideration, we decided against this partnership, concluding that it is neither necessary nor beneficial for our sub.

After much discussion, our mod team has decided to create a dedicated thread for those comments that were upvoted to oblivion, but as of the writing of this post, are still mass downvoted. We will be using community posts to gather them, and will be using those to post the comments in this thread. We will link each post where we have found the comment and the actual comment itself.

We would love your help in this. If you have any mass downvoted comment that you know of, please let us know so we can include it in this thread.
