Men don't conceal their depression because they are afraid being seen as less of a man. They conceal because no one gives a fuck.

As Bill Burr once said 'ladies your issues may not get resolved but at least people give a fuck'. <br><br>We as men don't have that. Our issues are ignored, and if not ignoredmockedd. People know that expressing our depression would yield negative results and consequences so they don't express it at all.<br><br>Maybe you have extremely supportive friends and family. See if you know any other guys. Nobody has those people. <br><br>And if you tell us this just shows that you have no closeness with other men. Depressed guys know this is the reason. Not because we are afraida to look weak.<br><br>And if you claim that it's a lack of communication then ask yourself why. Why is it a woman's sad day is an understandable sadness but a mans is being called sob story? Why would that be? <br><br>You may not say it out loud. But these are the thoughts that go through your mind.<br><br>If you know this is true then you understand.
