I work with a 17 year old and I really like her

I work in a library and recently hired a shy 17 year old. I’m a male in my 40’s. I shouldn’t be so ashamed but I am. I don’t know what to say to her or how to act. I’m afraid she’ll think I’m hitting on her. I have done this before but it’s never worked out! I’ve always been attracted to younger women. I didn’t expect to get this way again and I just don’t know what to do. I’m actually a really nice guy but I feel like a pedo or something. I know she’s legal but she’s still a teen.
