I would rather date someone with no social media presence than someone who posts multiple selfies/pics from a night out/daily lunches etc every day.

I remember reading an article about Chinese zoon (I think?) who had not left his house for over 40 years and was a successful streamer as people were fascinated by his interesting perspective. That is the kind of person (lovable weirdo/nerd) I would be interested in, not someone who is trying to get validation from as many people as possible via multiple platforms.

I don’t get what is enjoyable about telling the world everything you eat/drink/smoke/inject/do to your body etc on a daily basis. I have friends who refuse to get health insurance because they believe in “natural medicine” yet they are on here arguing with people about why detoxification is bad for you.

It gives me a weird sense of unease when people are too open with me about their business when I didn’t ask, and even more so when they broadcast it to everyone. It’s like, why are you telling the whole world you did number 2 today, or how much snot you produced while asleep, or what you had for breakfast (yes people post screenshots of a slice of toast as a meme, stupid as it sounds it’s amusing to them I guess).
