I think this sub needs to happen. Or at least a sub similar to it. Ill explain why and tell you my story – both as to why and how.

I'm Lithuanian, I'm 23. I didn't grow up in a wealthy family. I didn't grow up in a poor family either. My father is a joiner and my mother is a teacher. My fathers been struggling to find work most of his life and my mother works enough to keep food on the table and a roof above our heads.

I never had the privilege of getting the best toys or even going on holiday. I never even been on holiday. But both my parents told me from a young age – finish your education, get a good job and life will be better. I didn't know who to turn to or who to ask for help. This sub though spoke about the fact that there is no future without reforms in Lithuania and Ill agree with that. So lets reform the – government. Truth be told I was near broke not long ago and not much left to live for. I was so close to jumping into Neris. I didn't have much left and no one caught me before I fell.

That's why I'm posting here now. I'd love to think that this sub is what I would have needed before I became as desperate as I was. What if someone less fortunate than me ends up lurking here and finds what I found here and change their mind and make the right choices.

Not long ago it was my birthday and I asked my parents to buy me a subscription to Netflix. I binged the entire series of Squid Game. And let me tell you that series is a wake up call for all of us who live in Lithuania. I know we are not South Korea but we can be.

I had someone to talk to and I didn't kill myself. Thank you to whoever made this page. It gave me exactly what needed. A push in the right direction.

Thank you and have a good day.
