U.S. FTC sues to block Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) said on Thursday that it is suing to block Microsoft Corp’s (MSFT.O) $69 billion purchase of Call of Duty maker Activision Blizzard Inc (ATVI.O), saying the deal would let the Xbox maker suppress rival regulators and stifle competition.
