I actually got my app idea stolen, in real life. And it sucks.

I was getting a tattoo in 2017, and i told my tattoo artist my app idea, which i was wanting to build.

I told him that i was in a bad situation, police had me in jail for 7 months, but put in 7 years, and it ended up getting cleared after getting my warranty cleared for free from the public defender, which was the longest one that year, in 2012.

During that time i came up with this idea, which i have always been passionate about, and i wanted to build it in my spare time.

So in 2017 i was getting that tattoo, and in 2020 my tattoo artist messaged me, saying that my app is live!

I couldn't believe it, and i felt so dumb for telling him, although i have told a lot of people the idea, i didn't think it would come to fruition.

I was really disappointed.

The app ended up being a huge success, and it actually was really well built, although in my opinion not as good as what i had envisioned.

The worst part, was that i put so much work into this app, actually developing it, putting a lot of work into it, in 2011, and when i had the police problem, it all got put away.

I've put in a lot of work, and no one even knows, bc i didn't share it much, bc everyone told me to copyright the idea, before releasing it.

It's sad that i didn't release it and it didn't make me rich.

Thoughts?
