Is Tinder for men just a game?

I’ve been having a few strange encounters with men on tinder and would like to hear your thoughts.<br><br>I’m a 24 F and have been on tinder on and off for about a year now. I’ve been talking to this guy for about 3 months now. We’ve never met up and it’s always been just a conversation about anything and everything. He’s always been the one to initiate the conversation and I thought we had a good connection.<br><br>For context. I’m a model and get a lot of attention from guys. The reason I’m on tinder is to hopefully find someone who likes me for me. <br><br>Only last week I found out this guy has been having a competition with his friend on who can have the most conversations with ‘good looking women’ as he called it.<br><br>Then this week I matched a guy who seemed nice and I sent him a message saying hi, he replied back and we chatted a bit. He asked if I had a snapchat. I said yes but I don’t send any pics. He asked why and I said I’m uncomfortable to do so. He got offended and basically said ‘if a girl doesn’t send pics she’s not worth my time’. I replied back saying I’m not here to send you pics. I want to find someone who likes me as a person. He basically called me a liar and said I should send him a pic to prove it. I said no and he basically called me a stuck up bitch.<br><br>I’m not a stuck up bitch but I’m not going to send pictures of myself to strangers. <br><br>I want to get to know someone as a person and if it leads to anything sexual its my choice and no one else’s.<br><br>I’ve come across a lot of guys on tinder as well where all they message is ‘how’s it going’. It’s obvious that they’ve messaged everyone that same message and don’t care who replies.<br><br>It’s so frustrating. I’m I looking for something that doesn’t exist? That there are still men out there who want to get to know someone on a deeper level rather than treating women like pieces of ass?<br><br>Sorry for the rant.<br><br><br>Edit: Thank you everyone for the replies and advice. After reading a few of the comments I’ve decided to delete tinder and focus on meeting people through friends or social activities. Thanks again :)
