Men don't conceal their depression because they are afraid being seen as less of a man. They conceal because no one gives a fuck.

As Bill Burr once said 'ladies your issues may not get resolved but at least people give a fuck'.<br><br><br>And this was something my girlfriend once pointed out to me, there's a whole bunch of issues women face which they are not alone in, but instead of a whole joint effort to solve it, what happens is that there's a listening and then everyone goes their own way. What might take a community for women, takes a single post or a video for men.<br><br><br>For e.g if a video about mental health gets made by a man, it's not taken seriously because it's not a funny video. But if it's the Chris Hughes or the Ryan Ross video, all it does is create an illusion that people are aware and care. In reality they don't give a fuck and haven't given one from the start.<br><br><br>That's what happens with every issue men and women face, which are common or similar, nothing ever comes of it and the issues just continue piling up.<br><br><br>That's the unlike kind of special treatment women get, instead of a male dominated society it's a majority of people who don't give a fuck.
